Summer Bucket List: Chuck*E*Cheese

Bucket List: Chuck-E-Cheese

We took at a trip to the Chuck-E-Cheese in Sterling, Va with the Hurley kids and my best friend Tracy!! We had such a good time! I got to see the Hurleys' and I haven't seen them in so long and Liam and Andrew are about a month apart, that means Liam had a friend to play with, while the older ones were off playing games.

One thing I am glad that they updated was the singing, mechanical animals for birthday parties and such.. I remember back in the day they had a hard time moving around and they were just plan creepy..so thank goodness for the update! Having parties there is still a thing to do, I was a little surprised but did enjoy that you can get beer there -I did not have any, I hate beer.)

I havent been there in so long, it just makes you crazy and you want to get as many tickets as you can to win the over priced prizes but it is worth it to see how much fun Liam had with everyone. Here are a few pictures from that day!

The kids had a blast and of course Tracy and I had so much fun being able to catch up! I can't wait for our next trip. I will suggest not going in the sumer time and not a weekend, but most of you know that already!

Liam and Andrew in the truck : ) This was probably millionth picture taken because they both very unsure about it and wanted to jump out the sides..

Luke and Liam playing a broken game, but they didn't care they just wanted to push the buttons, I love how easily kids are amused :)

Climb LJ, Climb...such a little monkey

Hanging out with Andrew : ) Don't smash his finger, please...

Jeans? Leggings? no...JEGGINGS!

Favorite Things: Jeggings

Shop @ AE

Okay, so I have have a few pairs of these, of course I feel like I can only wear them on my " feeling uber skinny" days but they are soo fun! You can dress them up or dress them down.
of course you are thinking..duh. I just think they add something extra to your warebrobe. You dont feel like wearing heavy jeans in the summer but still want the look.. this is the way to go. I do love myself so skinny jeans but in 95 degree heat... who are you kidding.. so uncomfortable.

I just recently, got a black pair and absolutely love them! I never have own any black pair pants besides dress pants so I am branching out fashion wise lately, and it feels great!

I do have to say that because I have chicken leg legs, these make me feel more comfortable about that issue plus, the form fittingness is great, i you want to feel great about yourself. You will definitely turn heads in Jeggings.

I have bought both pairs at AE because they are in my price range currently. Also even though at the age of 26 I still get my jeans there because they just have aways fit me so good. Being 5'2 and skinny, chicken legs: it is not the easiest task to go to jean shopping, so once I found a band that works for me, it is hard to change it up. I have also seen them at Express and at Gap..so check them out!!!

If you like leggings and skinny jeans... you will fall in love with jeggings!

I survived the Bermuda Triangle...

Bermuda Cruise 2010

well the family took a cruise to Bermuda to celebrate my parents 60th birthday and my sisters 30th. My parents were brave enough to have both sets of parents and 2 grand kids with them. The kids did great and had a blast!! I got to hang out with my sister and spend time with everyone.. One of the things I absolutely love about cruises is the all the thing they have for you to do while you are on board. It took us 3 days to sell to Bermuda, so we have some time to enjoy the pool and playing bingo ( which Heather win at) see shows at night...Skylar was in love with them, she did awesome and would talk through the whole thing...thank god she didn't set with me! JK. We had two formal nights.. those are fun because besides going to prom or a being in a wedding: when do you get to wear gowns and get professional pictures taken?? Thank you to my BFF for loaning me dresses and a thing that made me super skinny! I have uploaded own a few pictures to give you an idea of the things we did. Take a look!

yes, that is part of a ship sticking out of the water. We went on a glass bottom boat at night time to the Bermuda Triangle. Even the captain asked if we were crazy. It was awesome! It was once and life time experience and to see all the coral, it was beautiful.

a good picture of my mom and me as we sail to the bermuda triangle..

one of my favorites!

my sister and me at the beach...she takes great self pictures!! love her!

my little sand monster. Too bad I didn't get a picture of them when he was trying to swim in the sand. Yes, he is only wearing a swim diaper.. he barely let us put that on him, he wanted to play so badly!

awww...perfection!

LJ at the aquarium and zoo..smallest zoo ever but he loved the hand on part.. he felt a sea cucumber!!

I love this picture.. i think hr wanted to get in the tank or he was looking for nemo!

cutest family!!!

hello,, I would love to live here. First off Oprah could be my neighbor. Second, the have free water.. sounds normal right.. well they collect rainwater throughout the year! Every building in bermuda has to have white roof shaped like that one so it collects it. Don't ask me how it does it because i am still trying to figure that out. It then goes into a hole they dig before building the house. Im sure thee is more to it but thats all I got. Also, bermuda just got their first and only recycling center, that just makes my heart happy. The people on bermuda have to be the nicest people I have ever met! and the cutest cars! Each house is only allow one car. But the down side is that it soo expensive to live there because EVERYTHING ( besides rum) is imported. Their " low income" housing STARTS at $300,000. crazy. Okay, take breath before you read this next part...to buy a Kia ( the car) here is what $15,000.. there it would cost you at least $40,000.. for a Kia.. I know I know...pick up your chin off the ground.

I have the best time, met so super nice people, and just really enjoyed spending time with my family. Getting a good tan, didn't hurt either.. the sunburn did a little but I would do it all over again!!

The big 3-0

Happy Birthday
Heather!

Tomorrow is my sisters 30th birthday! Yes, her and her daugthers birthday are only 3 days apart. June babies!

Now, I will not be there to celebrate with her this weekend and I am sad about that, but we will live because we are all going on a cruise together in July to celebrate my parents 60th and her 30th. can.not.wait

Now, ever since I can remember I have been the one out of the two of us to freak out abou her milestone birthdays...don't ask me why..I freaked when she turned 18...then the 21st birthday came around and once again..a freak out and some jealous of course because she could legally drink then the half century one came 25 and I told her she was getting old and was sad that we were growing up.. that along freaked me out.. I didn't want her to get older, I wanted to say the same age and me get old to catch up to her...I know realistic right??? Now, she is turning 30 and here I am making a big deal about it...I can't believe she is 30..remember when we used to live in the same house and fight over who's TV was too loud and who got to use the bathroom first. Then as we got older when she would come home college is was fun, we hung out as friends and we actually got along ( shocking) we used to have on old computer a web cam and we could make videos...so of course that was too much fun so we made all kinds of movies and just watched ourselves me stupid. I remember she used to use it as an extra mirror to check out she looked..now that we are both moms and live so far way we talk everyday about the kids, life, just everything and anything. She used to annoy me when I was little and lock her out of mu room and scratch her ( she still has scars...ask her..she will show you!) to now when I cant wait to see her. She has to be one of the funniest and smartest people I know. If you want to know anything about any animal or plant in the ocean she is girl!!

I couldn't ask for a better sister. I love you!

HaPpY 2nd BiRtHdAY!!!

I want to say...

Happy Birthday
Skylar Grace!

I can't believe she is 2 already. That is just crazy. She says my name when I talk to her on the phone and she tells me things she is doing and tries to show me what she has colored, even though I can't see it. so cute!

I wish I lived closer so I could see her all the time but its okay we have worked it out..we have web cam. So they get to see LJ and we get to see Skylar.

This weekend is her birthday party and my parents are going down and bringing Liam. I was suppose to have a lab to do at school but plans changed. I a sure I am going to be missing a rockin' party but LJ will come back and tell me all about it and show me his goodie bag. Let me just saying now having a kid, I get to experience kid birthday parties all over again and I love it! It is just too much fun.

So, I hope she has the best birthday party and has a ton of fun with her cousin.

I love you,
Aunt Bec-ca

Boo!

I know I have not posted in forever...

I know you are wondering " what has she been doing??" well I will tell you.. First off, i have been doing my online class that has just mentally shut me down by the time I put LJ down.

Speaking of LJ...he is great and has cute as ever. He now has hit that fun toddler age of 16 months and is into everything and anything that at eye level or close to it. He decided to get his last 4 teeth at the same time is week..so he is not exactly himself these past few days. He also has entered the phase of testing boundaries and not liking the word "no"..he is into throwing himself on the floor or so gracefully. Actually, tonight was the first time ever that I had to put him in time out... well really he needed time out twice...my little guy is growing up :( It made me sad to see him crying like that and the throwing his head back on the step above him when he was in time out but I got through it and he did too...so we will see what else he has up his sleeve...can't wait! ( sense the sarcasm). I don't know if this TMI but he has started to set on the big boy potty instead of the baby one..so I'm starting that process slowly...pray for me! Okay...enough about that, you want to know the fun stuff he has been up too.. well he got this awesome pirate water table that he absolutely loves!! He loves to get completely soaked and wants you to spray him with the hose and put water on his head...can you say..water.baby. Take a look at him in action.

( yes.. that is a baby wife beater)

He's a toddler now..no longing my baby baby....sigh...
